On 23 August 2010, Thammasat University council has imposed the establishment of the Center of Intellectual Property and Business Incubator Thammasat University act. The act aimed to encourage the transformation of knowledge, creativity, and research into a viable business and help advance innovative ideas or studies. Moreover, to protect the intellectual property of Thammasat University.
