National Innovation Agency (NIA)

National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) or NIA has developed a conceptual framework "Innovation Diplomacy", based on the strategic cooperation with innovative organizations worldwide. The mission is to enhance National Innovation System (NIS) of Thailand to international level, as well as to promote the image of Thailand to become "Innovation Nation". It provides financial and technological supports for development of innovation projects after the completion of R&D, supports, training and upgrading capabilities and skills in technologies and management of innovation and intellectual property, enhances networks of private enterprises and creates partnerships both on the policy and practical levels that will lead to development of the national innovation system, and promotes and raises awareness of innovation, including promotion of innovation culture through various activities.
