MEDA's Improving Market Opportunities for Women (IMOW) project supports the contribution of women to Myanmar's economic growth by strengthening the provision of goods and services to women small producers by Myanmar public and private actors and increasing the income and status of women small producers. The support includes bolstering agricultural productivity using sustainable agricultural practices and enhancing their confidence and decision-making capacity. IMOW operates in the rice and vegetable sectors, facilitating stronger linkages to markets for women and supporting growth in MSMEs through partnerships with local organizations, communities and companies that support and champion women and their economic empowerment.
