Mekong Institute, in cooperation with Thailand's Ministry of Commerce, promotes cross-border trade and enhances trade facilitation among the Lancang-Mekong countries. The support includes a joint development of cross-border economic aones, upgrading border facilitation for trade and development, Lancang-Mekong Business Forum, and action research on rural e-commerce.
