BioDurban is a new initiative of KRISP & eThekwini municipality to create a pipeline to incubate start-up companies in the health, agricultural and industrial biotechnology sectors. The focus of BioDurban will be to translate South Africa's scientific excellence and biodiversity into new commercial products. It will be centrally located at Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine at Glenwood, Durban.
