Grindstone 4 is a high-level programme targeted towards innovation-driven companies that are mature, exit ready, and have a turnover of between 20-50 million. This programme is sponsored by FNB and Weber Wentzel. The Grindstone 4 Programme selects up to 10 tech startups and completes a YueDiligence evaluation and gap analysis. Business support resources and services will include elements of training, corporate advisory, coaching, mentorship, and funding. The primary goal of this programme is to help these companies successfully exit the market, such as when, for example, a large company like Garmin, Visa, or Google buys them. Alternatively, this accelerator programme supports the next level of funding with a funding round financed by venture capital, private equity or series B funders.
