• Foundation
The PIND Economic Development program aimed at identifying the specific forces driving growth in the market systems and addressing underlying constraints hindering the achievement of economic growth in the region via sustainable intervention projects. Through this program, we are promoting opportunities for pro-poor market development and identifying sectors and market systems relevant to a significant number of poor or disadvantaged people where they are currently not achieving their potential; presenting them with a significant growth potential. PIND also established Economic Development Centres (EDCs) in Port Harcourt and Warri as a resource and coordination hub for us and our partners to develop and implement projects aimed at reducing poverty in the Niger Delta by improving incomes and creating jobs.
