The trade section of the British Embassy Bangkok under the UK's Department for International Trade supports Thai entrepreneurs who wish to invest or expand businesses in the UK, whether through Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) or using the UK as a strategic location to scale up their businesses. The Global Entrepreneur Programme (GEP) helps high-growth businesses of all size in relocating to the UK, using its strong financial ecosystem and market as a gateway to reach European and global customers. The trade section also works alongside UK's export credit agency - UK Export Finance (UKEF) to facilitate and ensure no viable UK export fails for lack of finance or insurance.
