The fundamental purpose of Black Umbrellas is to collaborate with partners in the private sector, government and civil society to address the low levels of entrepreneurship and high failure rate of 100% black-owned emerging businesses in South Africa. The Black Umbrellas Full Incubation program runs for 39 months, which includes a 3-month pre-incubation program, which can run independently followed by the 36 months Full incubation programme
