The Asia and Pacific Seed Association (APSA) was established in 1994, through the cooperation of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and DANIDA, with the aim of promoting quality seed production and marketing in the Asia and Pacific Region. APSA strives to help its members to produce, develop, research, and market quality seeds within the region and globally. APSA represents the largest network of companies, associations and government bodies relating to seeds in the Asia Pacific region and APSA operates as a platform for sharing ideas and knowledge for the growth and development of the seed industry in the region. Today, APSA is the largest regional seed association in the world.
