The parallel to Ashoka's model is a venture capital approach. Ashoka is looking for individuals with smart ideas and growth potential to invest in. Instead of profit returns, the return on investment is social impact. The fellowship support offers the fellows varies from early stage financial support, partnership opportunities, and connections across fields to thought leaders, funders, business entrepreneurs, pro-bono partners and others to help fellows scale impacts.
