AgDevCo believes that investing in agriculture is one of the most effective ways of lifting millions out of poverty in Africa. There are many early-stage farming and agri-processing businesses that could grow rapidly with better access to capital and management support. Those businesses could create jobs, link smallholder farmers to markets and contribute to food security, while offering reasonable financial returns to investors who are prepared to be patient.
